Image Sampler Not Working

Hello,

I cannot for the life of me get the image sampler to work. Please tell me what I am doing wrong!

The input surface must be reparametrized.This is the trick.

Here is another version.Using Remap Number component is probably better than just scale the data.

Sorry for the late reply, but this is awesome! Are you able to explain in simple terms why reparameterize is the trick? I understand the concept, I just donโ€™t see how it works in this case.

In the Image Sampler Settings, the default value of x domain and y domain are 0 to 1. So if you reparameterize the original surface, all the domains will be correlated with each other. If you donโ€™t reparaameterize the original surface,you have to measure the domains and type them into Image Sampler Settings manually.
