UPDATE: Somehow Arc is now creating single span curves for me. Not sure why or what change. Ignore this request.

Request: Arc command create single span curves unless the math requires multiple spans.

The Arc command creates a curve with a minimum of two spans, even when the angle of the arc is one third of a circle or less and a single span rational NURBS curve could be used. (Larger angles require multiple spans.) The superfluous knot results in unneccessary complexity in surfaces, etc created using arcs.

Perhaps that could be automated with a macro for arcs that are 1/4 of a circle or less. I often increase the degree of arcs to 5 degrees to get more control over the shape.
