How to get more recent files at the menu list?

I’m working on a lot of different projects and I need a longer list.

@wim Maybe it’s possible to bring it on the table again now. Computer screens are so large today, I see no reason to show much more recent files, for example 20.

Is this the value that (could?) change the number of recent files selectable at startup?

… seems likely related - although it keeps changing back and doesn’t seem to do anything.

No, it isn’t.
Changing the number in the MRU list will be available in Rhino 9.

Really hoping that this makes it into v9 - (for all of us juggling too many projects, poor naming habits and overwhelming file management tangles - it may not be best practice but it’s sure handy in a pinch!)

As long as you are on Windows, that’s already in Rhino 9.
The setting is in Rhino Options -> Files
