Hi,
We have a requirement where about 2000 parallel requests will be sent to Rhino Compute. To provide a proper experience to users, how many Rhino VM instances we need to provision? I’m thinking of running 10 Rhino Compute instances in separate dockers in an AWS EC2 5.2x large 8CPU 16G memory instance. Given the fact that each Rhino compute can process concurrent parallel requests, will my proposed setup help?
Otherwise, please provide your suggestions for the optimal configuration.
thanks
We normally don’t provide much feedback on these types of requests because there are just too many variables at play to make a proper recommendation, not least of which is how much money are you willing to spend. But one thing you left out of your question is how much time you expect a single request to take? Regardless, it’s probably best to do some smaller tests to see how your servers respond and to understand the expected wait times.
I can understand. Thank you Andy for the feedback.
Much appreciated.
