How can I create components such as in SketchUp?

Hey all,

How can I create components such as in SketchUp as my model is almost the same part over and over again (using a matrix and etc where we have 4 components used again and again), my current file is 990MB so I have to do something to reduce this. Thanks

i guess you are talking about blocks, at least thats what you use in rhino if you have instances of the same object which you place at differente locations to reduce the file size.
