General reset?

Hello, several features have gone haywire and I can’t do anything with my projects.

For example my mesh objects have broken into thousands of vertices, my select bar (lasso for example), is coming up with a No Entry sign, and when I edited a surface with control points I ended up with dozens - over 150 - surfaces.

As so many things are being weird, I assume I messed up some settings. Is there a general reset button to fix it all in one fell swoop?

NB— I also have a plugin, and I have also contacted the plugin people in case that is the source of the problem.

All of those things look to be related to one particular file/set of objects, not general Rhino options, so there is no reset necessary IMO.

Maybe you exploded the mesh? Try Join to join it back together…

I might try a reset of all the viewports by running the _4View command twice.

For this it would be good to post the surface as it was before editing…

Thank you for your reply Helvetosaur. I’m not sure I did anything at all, but the next time I used the software, everything was OK.
Beginners without a tech background can sometimes get out of our depth, but all is OK now. Thanks for helping,
