When working with large models containing interiors with furniture on multiple levels in Rhino 8, you rely on both BlockManager and worksessions to “offload” the geometry you don’t need when rendering a series of perspectives, plan views and sections. On Windows this is possible by using a combination of Named Views, Layer States, Snapshots and Worksessions. What would be better is a more simple solution supported by both Windows and macOS. How is your workflow?
Ideally you would for this type of workflow wish for a SectionPlane to be able to recall both a Snapshot and a Worksession since then you could offload the levels you don’t need when you create the individual plans and perspectives from level 1,2,3,4,5 and load in the entire model only when you need the geometry of the interior of all levels for the longitudinal sections.
It would also be do nice if you could create “jogged sections” like in VisualARQ og “Section Crop Meshes” like in V-Ray.
