The .ghz file is a binary file of G2.

I don’t understand. You can (sort of) open a *.ghx file in GH2, but it creates a grasshopper 2 document which attempts to mimic the behaviour of the grasshopper 1 file.
You cannot export a grasshopper 2 to the *.ghx file format.
