+1 not sure if that’s the exact request, but a supported way to export layouts to a file would be really helpful. My workaround is to use the scripts below (just to recreate the layout page) and copy/paste objects manually (layout by layout):
LayoutAddFromClipboard.py (222 Bytes)
LayoutCopyToClipboard.py (288 Bytes)
