Error Rigid mode

I’am getting the following error when I try to analyze my structure:

-1. There are 68 rigid body modes in the system. This means some parts can move freely without causing deformation.
Try to use the ‘Eigen Modes’-component and activate the display of local coordinate axes: The first eigen-mode will be the rigid body motion.
If this does not help, check whether you have a pinned support directly attached to a hinge. A hinge introduces an extra node which may cause the problem.
When analyzing a flat shell structure one has to lock the rotation perpendicular to the plate in at least one node.

I tried to use Eigen Modes component but when I connect the “Model” input to my Model View I don’t see the loads acting on the structure.

There are other ways to solve this problem? (175.7 KB)

Hi @sonia.ruta,

Unfortunately, I’m not a Karamba user, so I can’t assist you with your problem. However, you should have mentioned Karamba in your title and decription, and most importantly tagged your post “karamba3d” or “karamba” in order for the developers, like @karamba3d to see it. This should now call the Karamba hoards to help!

Thanks, and sorry for my error!

Hi @sonia.ruta, you have not split the vertical elements at their intersection to the horizontal elements, therefore karamba does not recognise that these elements touch. You can see this in the output for from the ConnectedParts component which outputs 4 branches.
