Double beams

Hi,

Is it possible to create double beams, to be more precise, I’m studying a bamboo strutucture in wich some arcs are made by more than one bamboo tied together. So how to set double beams or to create a cross section with two or more hollow cylinders?
What would you do?

you can either model them as separate elements and also model the connections as beams, or you can apply a slightly larger cross section to simulate a behaviour of a double beam
