Divide a surface

Hi,

I am dividing a surface in Grasshopper. The surface after dividing are larger than the original surface. I also try to use Quad Panel to divide the surface, but the same result. Does anybody how to solve it? I attach the original surface and surface after dividing. Thank you!

It seems your base surface is a “Trimmed Surface”.
Try to recreate your surface based on the 4 edges or 4 vertices of “Trimmed Surface” to get a single “Untrimmed Surface”.
