Display Mode: change curve display

Hi,

does anybody know whare can i find the option in Display Mode panel that makes a curve show it’s linetype?
This red lines should be dotted, instead are shown as continuous

Thanks in advance

You didn’t send a file so I’m guessing…

It might be the scale.
If you Zoom way in is it dotted?

Thanks for answering,

i did not attach a file because it happens on every file. When i switch from Shaded to Artic mode the linetype scale display changes

If i zoom as you suggested dots can be seen but it seems as if artic display changes linetype scale

07

It only happens with Artic mode, that why i asked.

Thanks again

Please send an example file along with the results of your Rhino “SystemInfo” so we can reproduce the problem.

Then we can offer a solution.
Without that we’re guessing.

Based on your comments, I can not repeat the problem.
A dotted linetype in a Wireframe dispaly mode and in Arctic both appear dotted here.

Maybe you changed a setting in YOUR Arctic working display mode? Again, I’m guessing.

In Rhino Options > View > Display Modes, is your Arctic name displayed in lavender? If so, it has been modified from defaults.
Click on the Restore Defaults button and see if that sorts it.

It could also be a buggered video driver.
That’s why I asked for the SystemInfo.

Thanks

display_modes.3dm (379.4 KB)
Arctic Lines.ini (12.8 KB)

i was cleaning the file because i cannot share the project.

The artic mode was modified, thats why i asked, i thought it was an option issue.

This is odd.
Your file seems fine and even using your Arctic Lines display mode, I am getting dot linetypes:
image

Perhaps one of your plug-ins may be interfering…

In Rhino Options > Plug-ins, change the list filter to “Plug-ins that do not ship with Rhino”.
Disable all of them and restart Rhino.
Does that sort the issue?
If so, go back in and systematically enable them one at a time, restart, until you find the culprit.

Any luck?

Thanks a lot for your help but this issue continues.

I think i’m gonna customize a copy of the original Artic Mode, this might be much easier

It might be.
If the problem persists, I’d try the plug-in process.
Since I was unable to repeat the problem here using your file and display mode, the only material difference between our systems are all those plugins.

Good luck
