Delete control points after shrinking a surface from and original elipsoid

How do I delete the control points after I Already used the ShrinkTrimmedsrf command?

Under the Point edit tool bar you’ll find options to add and remove Knots and control points.

Hello - if you trim through the singularity at the top, shrinking should get rid of those - my guess is you trim is slightly to the right of that point.


I trimmed through the center at the top and this solved
the control point problem but when I display in render mode
it looks abnormal verses wireframe display.

any suggestions to fix this problem?
