Create closed polysurface

Hey, I got a problem with the attached palm leaf, I wanted to create a closed polysurface, but it doesnt seem like working… I’ve tried DupBorder, then Loft, also Splitting/Trimming but i guess the form is too complicated… (I just need a surface from the closed curve).
Can anyone help me out please?
