I made a mesh between two gyroid mesh with grasshopper like this.
However, the details don’t seem to be working.
Roughness here is a factor in not being able to proceed to the next step. If you have any advice, I would appreciate it.

Hi,
Check this thread

Is that the same geometry as this:
If so I can post the GH file I used to make it - and a couple of other similar ones.
Thankyou for your reply! The one I want to make is a little different because it’s a model with variable thickness, but I’d like to reference it if you don’t mind.
I typically don’t use meshes for my designs, but I’m OK to try tweaking one that does to facilitate making a 3D print of it. That’s what happened with this one back in Feb 2023.
I found a version of the basic GH file on this forum, but the result wasn’t 3D printable because it had no thickness, and it used as its basis a couple of oddly shaped meshes that also could not be printed. So I spent some time rearranging and adding GH components to allow a choice among the original’s 3 different base shapes, and to allow specifying the size of the final result and also it’s thickness.

The grasshopper was really similler to mine, so it was easy to understand. Thank you so much!
Hi, thank you for introducing me to this thread! I made a new unit cell by using grasshopper in this thread, and it looks so nice!
