Connecting closest surfaces' vertices to form a surface in between

Hi all,

I am trying to join the closest vertices of the surfaces (in the horizontal direction) to form a surface between two already created surfaces. I would like to ask for your guidance in completing this exercise. There are other surfaces two in the other plane and I’d like to create surfaces in between them too parametrically. Could you please give me some directions on how to proceed?
