Connect 2 crv with seperate curve

Hi,

Is there a way to connect (or join) 2 curves with a extra curve, also 2 parallel curves.
Without extending the existing curves.

As you mentioned in your original post, Use Join.

This question seems so fundamentally basic, it is confusing.

What problem are you trying to solve?
