hi

as the message says, you should check if your support really lies on your mesh/shell geometry - there are points in the MeshToShell component which you can use to check
i used pull points and connected the points from the weave component to the point toggle in the mesh to shell component … still not working unfortunately
did you take the points from the mesh to shell output or from the mesh geometry?
the points to construct the lines ?
i set to points in rhino, sdl line, divide curve, (for both, one positive and one negative line direction) weave and pull point as well as points from the meshtoshell
the initial geometry s a brep from a polysurface in rhino
no, your points for supports or loads need to lie on a mesh vertex. A brep is not exactly the same as a mesh and therefore you need to make sure your points lie on your mesh vertex. Therefore make sure to snap the support points to the points on your shell
ah ok thank you.
hopefully my last question … what is happening to the force visualisation?
I am not entirely sure what is going on.
(if it helps I can also upload my files?)
thank you already for the support
It may be due to the deformation scale in the ModelView component - set the slider to a lower number.
