Automated modifications on rhinoceros and grasshopper

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to automate modifications on a 3D file, and a grasshopper script.

My idea is as follows:
1 - I have a 3D file
2 - Import the file on rhino
3 - Run a grasshopper script on the file
4 - Retrieve the file

Do you know of any software that can do this, or if I have to create one, would you advise me to turn to python, C++, java or something else?
