Are You Getting This in Rhino 7?

You need three hands to take the screen shot, I made a video to make a screen shot of this Low Resolution Font that appears when I copy an Icon/function like “Boolean Difference” (by holding down the Control Key and dragging it to the Popup Window (the one that pops up when you click the centre scroll button)…

How do I get a normal font ? or does Everyone Get This ?

I have no idea why no person can answer this font question. I have never been scared to ask a possibly dumb question … but perhaps I have hit a new high ?

Hi Gregory -

This is what I’m getting here:
2023-10-06 Copy Toolbar Button

Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here.
-wim

Yes, mine looks similar…

I get the same good result in Windows 10 and Rhino version 7. The problem occurs in Windows 11, and Rhino version 7.

If I record it with “FastStone Capture” it looks identical to your example, but what I see on screen is what I photographed with my phone…

Greg

Hi Greg -

Have you tried this in Rhino 8?
Apart from that, are you also seeing this when you disconnect one of the monitors and only use one?
-wim

Windows 8 is improved, the font is no longer jagged. When recorded it looks the same as the text you get when you hover over a icon. But actual viewing on screen … it is larger, darker and softer type characters.

This is the actual on screen view (as photographed) The font is similar, but not from the same Mother…

Maybe try turning Font Smoothing and/or ClearType off and on?

I do not believe that to be correct, as the other type on the page would be affected in a like manner.

I think what you are seeing is a graphic (like a picture) of the words “Copy Link” as opposed to the live text and graphics on the balance of the page.
