Any idea how this form was made?

hi guys! I am trying to find out how to recreate this form…

Any ideas where to start? I don’t know it was a form generated by a hanging chain (?) using karamba or kangoroo…
or was it created by developing a mesh with control points and then projecting a grid over it…

no idea!

Does anyone have an opinion on this?

I read AAD and it was a great book!
Still trying to figure it out though… but it helped me a lot!
