Align Surface

Hi everyone,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am working on a project where I would like to create some automize script to give an ID to the different facade modules.

I am having trouble and I think that the local axis of the planes representing the facade are not coincident, like the Z axis is opposite. At least that is what I belive.

This is the facade schematize with surfaces:

And this is the small script I have create to name the facade according to the layer number:

It gives me a solution, but the text is sometime rotated of flip, see below:

Could someone help me to align the local axis of the planes in order to have the text all in the same dorection and verse.

Perhaps you can use text tag.

Thanks Paco Paco, I have used Text Tag in previous projects, but I do not like it much and I am looking for something a bit more sophisticated. Thanks anyway!

You could use Align Plane, BTW, you need to unify the surface normal directions first otherwise some of your texts would be filpped…
