Air temperature difference

Hello,

I’m trying to show an air temperature difference with grasshoper for my thesis.

I have a little group of buildings from Berlin-Mitte and I want to see if there is a difference of temperature in the air if we add vegetation on the roofs / change the albedo of roofs and facades. unfortunately, when I run the simulation, there is barely 0,2°C difference at best.

Do you know if there is a way to emphasize the difference, or is it because of the limits of the software ( I know evapo transpiration cannot be included so there’s limits for vegetation on the roofs), or just because albedo etc don’t have a lot of effects on air temperature ?

Thanks in advance

your post does not provide enough information to get you much help i am afraid, you should include what kind of plugins you are using. Grasshopper does not provide any functions that calculate temperatures.

The easiest way to do this is using Ladybug Tools.

They have their own forum: Ladybug Tools | Forum There you can find examples of how to achieve this.

The easiest way to install Ladybug tools with all its dependencies (energy plus etc) is to use the pollination gh installer which can be found here: Pollination
