Is there a way to absolutly hide an object that cannot be seen by the reserve command ? It can be revealed by command only. Alternatively I would use layers but what if the object needs to a specific layer.
Not that I know of. Why do you need to do this?

I would like to modify an object and keep the original in the same place in a group, so I can always go back to the original version but I would like to hide it. It is also possible to dynamically move the original element to the actual layer when I want to see it.
