4 black squares appear in image when using "View Capture to File"

here are the titular four black squares. i suspect they come from the 4view layout?

here are my view capture settings

any ideas how to get rid of them?

Hi Andy -

I’m unable to reproduce this here. Please post both the 3dm file and the output of the Rhino SystemInfo command.

With Safe Frame

Without Safe frame

Is there a way to turn off safe frames appearing in the view captures without turning them off in the viewport? I use the safe frame a lot to align shots and it would be annoying to have to turn it off for every shot…

It seems that with “Transparent Background” On the Safe Frame is seen so it must be a BUG
“Transparent Background” On

“Transparent Background” Off

What version of Rhino are you seeing this in? I don’t see it in 8.2 RC for Mac.

I tested on R8 and I don’t see this problem

Looks like it’s fixed. Fixes in Rhino 8 that haven’t already made it back to Rhino 7 aren’t getting to get back ported.
