As a trained architect I have some years of experience in 3D CAD, having used AutoCAD (for the first time in 1998) for non orthogonal objects in architecture and mainly interiour design as well as experience in ArchiCAD and Vectorworks for the more orthogonal and daily geometry.
Having tried a few shy steps in 2011 on surface modeling with a Rhino V5 release candidate, I return to Rhino (V8) now, appreciating all the wonderfull ressources, as for example at the moment dipping my tow into the knowledge universe provided by @sgreenawalt on Youtube.
