I am experience zooming difficulty. It’s hard to describe, but the zoom seems to be too powerful and it zooms right through objects every time. This happens with the mouse wheel as well as the alt+rmb. Not sure how to make it slow down.

Hi Erik - see what the scale factor is set to in Options > View page >Zoom - default is .9, lower numbers will speed the zoom, numbers approaching 1 will slow it down.

Hi, actually the core reason for that is that Rhino doesn’t set zoom target on the mesh for you. it seems that this plugin is exactly for you: Walkie - A plugin for Rhinoceros with game-like walk navigation and mouse navigation improvements - YouTube
This plugin constantly places the camera target right under your cursor in 3D space that you can zoom in freely wherever you want, which Rhino doesn’t do for you.
