Xamarin Licensing Changes

A new post on zamarin blog, announce some changes in Xamarin licensing.

  • Xamarin is now available in every edition of Visual Studio, including the widely-available Visual Studio Community Edition, which is free for individual developers, open source projects, academic research, education, and small professional teams.

  • The Mono Project has been release on MIT License. And Mono mac is going to be released on MIT License in the comming month.

I think some pages on http://developer.rhino3d.com must be changed. (like this one).
I want to know if it makes any diffrent for Rhino cross-platform plugins developer?

This announcement was just made today at the build conference so we’re still unsure about all of the details.

I’m still not sure what the OSX Xamarin Community Edition is which may have the biggest effect on Rhino plug-in developers. Once we figure out the details we’ll update our developer pages.

Thank you for your reply, I hope to hear good news soon.
