When a Rhino session is open and I drag the .RWS file to it, the work session opens fine.
When I double click the .RWS file in windows explorer, Rhino crashes on startup.
My Rhino is:
Version 5 SR10 64-bit
(5.10.41201.11145, 1-12-2014)

No such luck (?) on my end.
Also running SR10 64-bit. (5.10.41201.11145, 2014-12-01)
(though when I double click the .rws file SR10 32-bit opens…)
EDIT: changed default program to 64-bit and no problems then either…

That explains my problem. I guess I opened it with the V6-WIP and was unaware.
When I change the ‘open with’ it works fine!
Tomorrow I will offer a demo to a client and was happy to find out and now even know what happened

It also solved a problem that I had - files opened from windows explorer opened in 32-bit where I didn’t have my user preferences set… 
Yeah, I know that problem. I had that too as files were opened in V4 which I still have on my PC.
