File - Worksession - Open menu. Select a simple.rws file. Result is a black viewport for several seconds, followed by Rhino closing (no crash report notice, etc.) (Update: If the attached file is small the objects in the attached file may appear briefly before Rhino closes.) The Worksession .rws file is Elf WS A.rws (648 Bytes)
The same .rws file pens correctly when the Worksession panel “Open” icon is used, and when the .rws file is double-clicked in File Explorer.
Update: To reproduce open a .rws file in V9 WIP using the File - Worksession - Open menu.

Hi @davidcockey,
Sorry to hear that you are crashing.
The RWS is not enough for us to duplicate your issue here and fix it.
Can we get this file from you that is attached to the worksession?
This occurs independent of the particular .rws file.
Attached is a set of example files. I just tried these and Rhino 9 WIP closed and created a crash report. I submitted the crash report. V9 RWS Example DC01.rws (944 Bytes) Green Sphere.3dm (42.3 KB) Blue Box.3dm (54.0 KB)
In Rhino 9 WIP File menu > Worksession menu > Open and select the .rws file.
The objects in the files may or may not be displayed very briefly.
Rhino crashes.
In contrast, the .rws file opens correctly if I open a .rws file using the Open icon in the Worksession panel.
Not for me. I opened the rws that you provided, and I did not crash.
That is how I took the image of the Worksession manager.
Maybe I will get the crash with these files…
@mary I downloaded the posted files onto my laptop and repeated the crash. I submitted the crash report. SystemInfo for that system is below. (SystemInfo for my desktop is in my first post.)
