I was working on grasshopper with a very heavy file with lots of geometries (up to 1GB). It takes like 5 min for saving.
I set the autosave on every 15min as a habit.
The problem is when I am using Grashopper, I am primiarily editing the grasshopper file and not the main rhino file. Yet because of autosave, every 15min my computer hangs for 5min for saving.
I can make a workaround by temporarily disabling autosave, but I fear at some point if I forget to turn it back on, I would lose my valuable work upon a crash.
it would be great if autosave depends on how many actions taken, rather than a set time interval.
Like it autosaves after 100 actions taken.
