Is it possible to undo the ! _ClearUndo
command? I accidentally clicked on that icon while trying to click on the ! _UndoMultiple
icon, thus I suddenly lost the entire undo stack… Now I lost the chance to undo some steps of my work and basically lost an important progress…
I imagine the point of ClearUndo is to release memory, so enabling undo would defeat the purpose. A more feasible alternative would be to add a confirmation step to help prevent mistakes.
Yes, this is an extremely important and risky action, so a confirmation pop-up warning is mandatory.
The only thing that you can do (if you are working on a previously saved file) is to “save as” the current file modified so you don’t overwrite the old one…
Never used the ClearUndo… I agree that a confirmation warning should be displayed before purging everything…
I was working on a model saved several hours earlier and opened again to continue from where I stopped previously. However, I made some progress and wanted to go back a few steps because the most recent surfaces were not as good as before. I end up deleting a couple of surfaces and started from scratch.
