Wish: Trim didn't calculate mesh twice

I wish Trim wouldn’t calculate mesh for the preview and then re-generate the mesh when the command it done. It really slows things down.

Hi Peter - are you making very complex trims? Does it make sense to switch to wireframe temporarily?


Not complex trims, but the polysurfaces being trimmed are often large, resulting in 2x the meshing.

Sometimes I switch to wireframe. That can be annoying b/c I’d have to switch to wireframe in all viewports, then switch each back to whatever I want it to be.
