(wish) Single Vertex / CV - no Gumball rotation

(this is not a big or urgent wish, but I think many of those fine tunings make a great program)

if a single vertex is selected, the default location of the gumball is the point itself.
But why are the rotation handles / 1/4 Arcs shown.
Rotating does not have any effect if a point is rotated around itself.

(as soon as gumball is relocated, of the CV/Vertex Coordinate, rotation might be useful)

thanks - tom

it s a pity that those issues get no attention.

Is this because if you remove the gumball arcs for points, then you cannot double-click <edit> the gumball rotation itself? You may wish to change the base axes direction.
