Rhino 8’s clipping plane custom depth was a great addition. What is still missing are custom width and custom height options. That would make it very easy to isolate parts of the model, especially point clouds. How hard is that?
You know you can add multiple clipping plane to the same view?
Yes, I know. That’s what I was doing before the custom depth was added, but it would be much easier and more efficient to control it like we do the depth.
Saw this video a while back when i was searching ways to do what your describing. They use multiple clipping planes together to make a scope box.
