i use the symmetry command in connection with history from time to time and find it quite useful for drafting in many situation.
one thing i really miss is an option to make the resulting curve periodic (= a smooth closed curve) !
the current version of the command outputs a smooth transition between the input curve and the symmetry output at one end of the curve, but the other end will be a kink.
