Hello
I am working on an old architectural project again, the client keeps on changing basically everything .
As a result I have a very complex layer structure with loads of different variants.
Of course I have to create plans from this building on a regular basis.
My problem is that every time I open one of the layout tabs after a couple of month again, I find that everything is messed up again.
The main reason for it is that Rhino keeps adding elements, which have been created after my last layout was complete, into my details.
For me right now that means that I have to activate every single detail in my layouts and either hide the new layer in the detail or use the " _HideInDetail" command to get rid of unwanted objects.
While trying to find a solution here I stumbled over this treads which describe the same problem.
2014!:Wish: Saved LayerState show / hide new layers option
2019:Detail Layers Visibility RhinoScript - #7 by lahos
2023:New layer visibility in Viewport Layouts
Looking at R8 I am still unable to find a solution for this, despite all the new options
Maybe I am to stupid to understand the suggested workflow…
Can someone please enlighten me?
Thanks
Andreas
