When a selection of edit points is named and saved, selecting this named selection activates the corresponding controlpoints (of the controlmesh), not the editpoints (on the surface itself).
Since I often use editpoints to pull a part of a subD surface to a mesh, NamedSelection of editpoints would be a great help.
Thanks! I see this too and filed it as https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-56761 . You can in the meantime sub-select an entire area of the SubD and you’ll get the vertices in the named selection drop down list.
