Hi David, I just looked at your initial post PrintDisplay doesn't do what I want
Print Display behaves differently in Layout and in modelling view, it even has different settings and also a different name.
“Print Preview” in Layout uses the line width setting for the printed lines, regardless of the scale. It shows the linewidth that the printer will get and it works great for it’s use.
“Print Display” kind of just fakes this. I too wished for a world-size-line-thickness feature back in the days, but for my current needs when making prints like maps and production drawings then the current behavior is better.
