We often have to join meshes from imported files to make the file faster to redraw since Rhino is no fan of tons of objects, and when I do this I often click on the wrong parts
(due to Rhino’s picking radius, yes I know I can lower it, but I like it in other settings, so this is beyond the point )
So it would be GREAT if Rhino could accept Ctrl unselecting while the command is running, just like it can when manually picking before running the command (yes, I know that is a viable workaround too )
So please consider it, it would be great to not having to terminate the process and start over.
Hi Jorgen - This has come up in the past and the upshot at the time was that it could not be done - that was some time ago, so I’ll ask again, but I am not super optimistic.
Obviously I can not see what makes it so difficult since rs.GetObjects() supports it. And an Undo option is already included, so I am sure this could be done, but it would probably require some more complex rewrite than I can imagine then…
Thanks for bringing it up, it would make sense for a coherent UX and fast workflow as the Ctrl unselect is deep in the muscle memory
