Wish: Cplane snap to section (only) with Mplane

I wish for (need) the ability to snap to the clippingplane section.

It would also be great with the ability to have Mplane as an option for the cplane. (no need to attach it)
And then also ONLY snap to the section.

Will we ever this? It’s been almost a decade!!! I have to continually use “interesect two sets” to generate geometry I can snap to.
