Hi,
There are many new commands related to clipping planes and clipping sections, and these can be a bit tedious.
I created a concept based on the layer panel. In this panel, we can organize clipping planes, create clipping drawings if we want, and use the buttons in this panel to update these sections, export them, etc.
I think this would be a more user-friendly approach.

a dedicated CP panel is on the list as

But that won’t happen in Rhino 9
there is different topics on document-Statistic-like-panels.
maybe it would be great to have a more generic panel with predefined and custom filters ? Then the Clipping Plane Panel would just be a generic object statistics with Clipping Plane Filter…
and please give developers a simple hook to write custom filters via code / scripting / plugins
