WISH: Can Sub-Object selection select curve control points?

It would be really practical for sub-object selection to allow control point selection of curves as it does with subD vertex.

I’m not quite sure I understand, as control points can just be selected directly. Are you looking for a way to be able to select control points ONLY? That can be done with the selection filters. Or are you looking to select them even if the are not turned on… or something else entirely?

Select them when they are not on. A control point is a sub object of a curves yes? It would make sense for sub object filter to be able to select them.
