Wish: Add Grid Colour in Display Mode

could we add individual colours in the grid setting for the grid? right now we have individual grid settings also the axis colour can be changed per mode, but we can not set the grid colour individually. i am trying to set up a display mode that has the grid transparent above, but the general grid colour is unusable in this scenario, changing the grid colour only works globally but not individually.

I don’t think the default wireframe view mode has that option. Thus I created my own colored grid mode (see attached image). You could create a new view mode then you will see there is a place to change the grid color.

i am talking about the major and the minor grid colour settings as seen below.

beyond that i have no further option to set grid colours individually, even if create a new display mode.

Ok I thought you were talking about the grid plane. Perhaps McNeel exposes the grid line colors in advanced settings? Don’t know as I don’t do that much customizing anymore.

But I do second your wish setting custom grid colors should be in the grid settings.

just to be sure, they are exposed in Rhino for MacOs, but i am looking for individual per Display Mode settings.
