While the Profiler Widget currently provides valuable information on computation times, it would be immensely helpful to have a visual loading bar or progress indicator while computations are running. This feature would offer users a clearer sense of progress, especially for scripts with long execution times, and help manage expectations more effectively.
When a wiring mistakes occurs, the computation time can become several minutes or freeze gh entirely. With a loading bar or progress indicator, I could better visualize whether the script is simply slow, but still computing, and worth waiting for a few minutes or not and one needs to manually terminate Rhino and restart. Now I just wait 5 minutes and hope for the best, but that experience can be improved upon
