I imported an stp file because I can’t figure out how to draw this in Rhino.
the top left is the part. so I drew a line to use wire cut and it worked as expected, the result is a solid part, the green one bottom pic. Next I could not draw a socket as shown in the purple, so I imported the purple part and cannot get wire cut to work on it. so I imported the 1 st part again and tried wire cut on it and it does not work on it any more, I don’t know what has changed. I want to wire cut the purple part like the green part . if you download the file you will see I am lining up the cut wire the body.
