A couple of anomalies…working with latest Rhino WIP 7.0.20133 on a Windows machine, the black material in the rendering is a referenced material from the material library (acoustical ceiling) – sometimes the material works, other times it doesn’t. The material thumbnail looks correct.
I also think the overexposed yellow, a referenced paint material from the library appears to have switched to an emitter material. The material thumbnail looks correct.
Maybe material issues are related to nested surfaces in the model. For example, finished sub-d surface is used to offset to a solid, but I’ve left the finished sub-d surface in the model.
I’m using most up to date NVidia driver with a 1070 card.
Hey Nathan…this may also be related. Picture frame / Material goes black. Was editing sub_d surface and it just switched off. Material looks correct in preview. Material was originally set to a 75% transparency and was working fine.

Hey James, I don’t think it can affect what you’re reporting here, but the version of Bella you have installed was never tested with V7. The current 20.5 version (available here) should work fairly will with it.
