I’m getting the same issue, I have just built a new computer so the windows 10 installation is 100% fresh. I’ve attempted a variety of the fixes above but I"m worried I might be making things worse.

Ok, I downloaded another installer from a link I found in the logs and it has installed just fine, but it asked for a Rhino 6 license. I have already installed Rhino 6 before this, so I already had a license.
Probably not the most straight-forward way to troubleshoot, but it worked.
