WIP bug list: FLICKER [WARNING EPILEPSY]

Hi Guys,

just wanted to warn if someone with epilepsy uses rhino WIP, the display flickers when TestMetal command is active. The flicker is very fast and disturbing.
It only stops when quitting the app!

happens when: testmetal active and

  • opening Rhino About
  • selecting multiple objects and rotating in perspective viewport
  • simply rotating in perspective viewport and meshes contained in file (visible, not hidden)

How many mesh geometries are we talking about? Seems to be fine for me.

There are 7,416,866 quadrilateral polygons and 1,956,130 triangular polygons in this selection
There would be 16,789,862 total triangular polygons in this selection after forced triangulation

It’s always best to run the SystemInfo command and post its output, along with the file that you’re having issues with, so that the developers have something to track a pattern down and thus maybe be able to fix the bug.
Creating a range of seemingly inflammatory posts with only very mediocre problem descriptions usually doesn’t accomplish much.
